Meet Our Founder
Keith Whann has built a multi-decade career spanning law, motor vehicle industry expertise, and technology development. His journey began as an Assistant Ohio Attorney General handling consumer protection cases, followed by the founding of the law firm Whann & Associates serving the motor vehicle industry for over 25 years.
As co-owner and CEO of a 500-employee wholesale auto auction, Keith identified a critical need to transition brick-and-mortar business models to a significant online presence. He led the transformation of this legacy brick-and-mortar business into a modern, technology-driven enterprise, developing and leveraging digital tools, online platforms, and e-commerce to expand market reach, streamline operations, and drive new revenue. This led to the founding of Whann Technology Group, which by 2015 served 175 motor vehicle auctions across North America, South America, and Europe. In 2016, after guiding the company through a strategic acquisition, Keith exited and founded The Whann Group.
Keith is an experienced technology innovator who has developed numerous mobile applications and enterprise technology platforms across diverse markets. He is also a motor vehicle industry voice on Capitol Hill and nationally known author and speaker, having spoken at conventions and meetings for over 50 state, national and international groups, trade associations and regulatory agencies including the FTC, CFPB, and NHTSA.
